She was most recently seen as Betty in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, and Maria in The Sound of Music. She was thrilled to make her concert debut as the soprano soloist in Bach's Reformation Cantata at Lancaster Bible College with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed as a soloist with Durang Dance Collective, York Opera Collaborative, and Penn Square Music Festival. She recently made her Carnegie Hall debut with the Western Michigan University Chorale.
In addition to performing, Rebekah maintains a thriving private voice studio in Southwest Michigan. Her students have gone on to study music at institutions across the country. She also serves as the voice graduate assistant at Western Michigan University, teaching undergraduate applied lessons and classes. Rebekah enjoys working with programs such as the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, Homeschool Performing Arts, and the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus, where she continues to share her love of music and performance with the next generation of artists.
PRESS
At the top of my list is the Civic debut of Rebekah Hill in the lead role of Maria. Her strong portrayal of this ebullient character and her vocal delivery of half a dozen numbers, including the show’s title song, solidifies the sympathies of the audience and the von Trapp children. Hill’s performance tops my list partly because of her character’s growth. She transitions from an uncertain future as a nun to governess in the von Trapp family home as she grows enough backbone to confront the domineering Captain von Trapp. In the process, she captures his heart.

Gordon Bolar, Classical WMUK
"Rebekah Hill plays Katherine Plumber, Jack's love interest and a reporter who has a few secrets of her own. She helps bring awareness to the plight of the newsies, and brings a certain motherly sensibility to a group of ragtag boys...Hill pulls this off with grace and conviction."

Rich Mehrenberg, Broadway World
"[Hill's character] Maggie is sweet and innocent, traits that Hill highlights in her facial expressions and in her wonderful soprano voice. She wins over the audience with her character's hope and wishful attitude."

"Rebekah Hill has a wonderful voice, and her strong personality is a perfect counterpoint to Jack... this Newsies sparkles."
