Soprano, Rebekah Hill, is a Tennessee-based performer and teacher with a deep love for creating and storytelling through music and performance. Rebekah holds a Master of Music in vocal performance from Western Michigan University and Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Lancaster Bible College. Rebekah's work spans opera, musical theatre, and choral music, as well as film and television. Known for her authentic storytelling and dynamic artistry, Rebekah is passionate about collaborating with fellow artists and audiences to bring music to life.
Rebekah has performed in Michigan and across the East Coast with various companies, including Farmers Alley Theatre, Fulton Theatre, Reverie Actors Company, and Opera Lancaster, among others. She was most recently seen as Adele in Die Fledermaus, Betty in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, and Maria in The Sound of Music. She recently made international soloist debut in Spain as the soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah. She has also performed as a soloist with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Durang Dance Collective, York Opera Collaborative, and Penn Square Music Festival. She recently made her Carnegie Hall debut with the Western Michigan University Chorale under the direction of Dr. Amanda Quist.
In addition to performing, Rebekah maintains a thriving private voice studio. Her students have gone on to study music at institutions across the country. During her graduate studies, Rebekah served as the graduate assistant for the voice and opera program at Western Michigan University, teaching undergraduate applied lessons and classes. Rebekah has enjoyed working with programs such as the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, Homeschool Performing Arts, Servant Stage Company, and the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus, where she continues to share her love of music and performance with the next generation of artists.
